Coping with uncomfortable situations through crafting

  • Redefini Psychology Level 1, Unit 4 - 16 Blackwood Street Mitchelton, QLD, 4053 Australia (map)

Suitable for teens/tweens

Merging creativity with coping skills in our unique craft therapy group for tweens and teens on the NDIS and those with autism. Our sessions focus on using crafts like cube creations and paper planes to navigate and manage uncomfortable situations.

Crafting isn’t just about making things; it’s a strategic, fun way to develop problem-solving skills, enhance fine motor skills, and promote mindfulness. More importantly, our craft sessions provide a safe and inclusive environment where participants can practice social interactions and build meaningful connections with peers who understand and share similar experiences.
