Deanna Gough

Deanna “Dee” is a qualified psychologist who works with children, adolescents and families throughout all stages of developmental challenges. She focuses on empowering children and families to connect through all stages of life change. 

Dee uses a range of evidence based therapeutic practices including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT); Family Systems, interpersonal relationships, narrative, mindfulness and solution-focused treatment. 

Specialisations

She has a particular passion for working with Spectrum families and individuals with disabilities across the all ages. She provides tailored interventions to support the needs of the client and their families. 

Deanna is also a qualified Animal Therapist and where possible incorporates her animals into therapeutic practice.

Sarah Hibbard Haines

Sarah is a provisional psychologist who is interested in providing assessment and therapy across the lifespan. 

She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology at Griffith University.

Sarah has a warm and empathetic approach and focuses on working collaboratively to address each client's individual needs. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys playing indoor soccer and running around with her dog.

ANNA SAINT ANGE

Anna Saint Ange

Anna is a compassionate and dedicated counsellor, passionate about providing therapy to children, youth, and families through all stages of development. Currently, in her final year of the Bachelor of Counselling program at Griffith University, Anna is driven by a profound desire to support individuals and families on their unique developmental journeys.

Committed to a person-centred approach, Anna recognizes and embraces the distinctiveness of each person, tailoring evidence-based methodologies to meet their specific needs. With a genuine warmth and empathetic nature, Anna prioritizes creating an environment where clients and their families feel heard, understood, and empowered as she believes it is her absolute privilege to bear witness to their story.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Anna devotes her free time to volunteering with Lifeline, contributing to the well-being of others. In addition to her commitment to counselling, she enjoys cherishing moments with her loved ones, especially her dog.

As Anna nears the completion of her degree, she is poised to make a lasting difference in the lives of those she serves, combining her academic expertise with a genuine passion for creating meaningful connections and fostering positive growth.

Abbie Smith

Abbie is a dedicated student in her final year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Counselling at Griffith University. With a passion for making a difference, Abbie's journey in the disability sector began straight out of high school. She has amassed valuable experience ranging from 1:1 support to coordinating in-home and group programs, all geared towards enhancing independence, social communication, and daily living skills.

Known for her compassionate nature, empathetic approach, and attentive listening skills, Abbie is deeply committed to supporting individuals in reaching their full potential. She thrives on setting and achieving goals that positively impact the lives of those she works with. Abbie finds particular fulfillment in collaborating with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering a nurturing and secure environment where growth and development flourish.

Ella Gilmour

Ella is a provisional psychologist who is passionate about working with and empowering individuals throughout all stages of life.

She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland.

Ella embodies warmth and compassion in her approach to practice. She aims to provide clients with a safe space where they can feel valued and supported in working towards their goals. Ella is interested in offering both assessment and therapy services and uses a range of evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet the needs of each individual.

In her spare time, Ella enjoys live music, spending time outdoors, planning her next adventure, and hanging out with her cat.

MATILDA BORGER
Provisional Psychologist

Matilda Borger

Matilda is a provisional psychologist with experience in delivering assessment and therapy across the lifespan. Matilda uses a range of evidence-based intervention strategies with her clients, predominantly from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) framework.

Matilda is registered with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Psychological Science, and from Monash University with a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced. Matilda is currently studying a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland.

Matilda has a warm and empathic demeanour. She enjoys supporting the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children, their families and adults.

In her spare time, Matilda enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going for walks and watching movies.

Rana Asnicar

"I graduated with Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Science from Southern Cross University, where I am studying a Masters of Professional Psychology. My passion lies in establishing safe environments for children and families to address their unique needs. Throughout my academic journey, I have extensively worked with children, and I am eager to continue in this area by providing assessment and therapy using a diverse range of therapeutic techniques.

In my practice, I adopt a person-centred, collaborative approach, focusing heavily on cultivating trust, autonomy, and support for both clients and their families."

John So

John is a provisional psychologist currently pursuing a Master of Professional

Psychology at Griffith University. He holds a Master of Counselling from the

University of Queensland. Prior to moving to Australia, he completed a Bachelor of

Social Science (Hons) in Counselling and Psychology in Hong Kong.

John has diverse supervised experience working with individuals of varying ages and

presentations across diverse settings, including a hotline counselling service,

secondary school, telehealth service, and private practice.

John approaches his clients with an open mind and humility and is dedicated to

creating a safe and supportive environment for them to discuss their concerns. He

works collaboratively with his clients using evidence-based approaches, including

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

(ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

John is passionate about supporting people’s mental health, helping them overcome

life challenges, facilitating positive life changes, and fostering personal growth.
